Sisters of the Homecoming Borehole Project is a new initiative of Mubita, LLC to help develop a clean water resource for Naloko Village in the historic Barotse Kingdom in Western Province, Zambia. Nakolo Village is home to King Mulambwa, the 10th Litunga (King) who abolished the slave trade in Baroteseland. The water borehole inititive seeks U.S. women-owned businesses or organizations (community groups, employee resource groups <ERG>, sororities, church groups, etc.) that want to support this worthy cause. Sponsor is also open to non-women focused groups and individuals.
(Update!) The initiative has been extended indefinitely until we reach out financial goal, with a targeted installation date of approximately 10 days after financial goal is reached. All sponsors will have their names listed at the borehole site and on the Mubita, LLC website.
